India and Belarus signed 10 covenants Tuesday to expand cooperation in a number of areas and decided to explore the joint development and manufacture of military platforms, giving a new impetus to bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the President of Belarus, A.G. Lukashenko, also agreed to focus on increasing the economic commitment between the two countries, arguing that there was ample scope to boost trade and investment.
“We will encourage joint development and manufacturing in the defense sector under the” Make in India “program, Mr. Modi said in a press release.
The Prime Minister said that he and Mr. Lukashenko had reviewed the “architecture” of the India-Belarus partnership and had exchanged ideas to expand it.
The signed pacts provided to enhance bilateral cooperation in a variety of areas, including oil and gas, education and sports.happy wheels
