North Korea on Monday told United Nations that the situation on the Korean peninsula has become critical and a nuclear war may break out any moment.
Deputy UN Ambassador Kim In Ryong reportedly told the General Assembly’s disarmament committee that “unless the hostile policy and the nuclear threat of the US are thoroughly eradicated, we will never put our nuclear weapons and ballistic rockets on the negotiation table under any circumstance.”
US President Donald Trump had begun exchanging insults and threats with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un. Trump started a war of words warning to “totally destroy” North Korea if it threatens the United States.
Whereas the US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson told CNN, that Trump is not seeking to go to war. Efforts would “continue until the first bomb drops,” he added.
Kim, following six nuclear tests had said his country “had passed the final gate” toward becoming a full-fledged nuclear power. Adding that North Korea will not target any country that does not join hands with US military.
“As long as one does not take part in the US military actions against the DPRK, we have no intention to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against any other country,” he said.happy wheels
