National Security Adviser Ajit Dhoval said the Kashmiris were fully supportive of the repeal of Article 370 and were able to persuade them to do so. Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, Ajit Doval said the latest situation in Kashmir was … His representatives explained that sanctions in Kashmir are continuing to halt Pakistan’s efforts to provoke tensions in the valley through terrorists. He described Article 370 as not a special status but a special discrimination that separates Kashmiris from India. However, the restrictions have been gradually eased, with only 10 places in all 199 police districts in Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh. Landline services in all three areas have been fully restored, he said.
Dowal commented that the politicians were detained within the law. He said the government had the right answers to the questions raised by the courts in this regard and that violating jurisdiction would have to pay a huge cost. He said that with the abolition of Article 370, Kashmiri youth could be given great opportunities, many jobs and their future would be better. Dowal asserted that only a small number of people oppose it and that the majority of the people say it is the voice of the people. He alleged that Pakistan was aiming to create turmoil in Kashmiri with anti-India propaganda and to create unrest in the valley.
He allegedly sent terrorists and tried to incite violence. He said that if anyone is interested in restoring normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir it is only India. We will not allow people to fall victim to the bullets sent by Pakistan across borders with machinations.
The Pakistani allegations of human rights violations in Kashmir are not true and only local police and paramilitary forces have been deployed for the protection of peace. According to intelligence sources, 230 militants were ready to enter the country in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Some of them said they had infiltrated the borders to create trouble, blocking the activities of traders and local people.
Dawal said the Pakistani leaders had warned two Pakistani militants that they should be given bangles if they did not do the assignment properly. The two terrorists went to the home of Hamidullah Rathar, a prominent trader in Sopore, on Friday and opened fire on his son and grandson. The unrest in Kashmir has been termed as a Pakistani piece of terrorism.
He criticized Pakistan for not changing its mind beyond normal conditions in Kashmir. Asked what would happen if Pak continued to adopt the same attitude, Dowal replied that there was a solution to every problem. He said that if the mobile phones and internet services were restored immediately, the activities of Pakistan and terrorists would be increased. If these services were not available, people would not have trouble living a normal life.
He said that the Internet will not stop people from doing things before they come into our lives, but are unhappy with the sanctions. People in any society want more than they have. But, he said, life is important. There are no restrictions on 92.5 per cent of the geographical area of Jammu and Kashmir.happy wheels
