New Zealand beat South Africa in thriller to reach the final of the World

with a ball to spare in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 semi-finals in Auckland. Caps progressed to the final of the World Cup for the first time in seven attempts in the process.

Elliott and Corey Anderson had risen 58 caps 149-4 in their pursuit of a tight 298 rain.
South Africa 281-5 previously published, with Faf du Plessis doing 82 in a reduced to 43 overs per side match.

Captain AB de Villiers stepped in with an unbeaten 65 for South Africa and David Miller 18-ball 49 on a goal that was intensified by Duckworth-Lewis, but only available in New Zealand.
He was fourth successful World Cup semifinal Proteas to add two defeats and the famous Loop 1999 Australia.
For New Zealand, seventh semifinal tie finally gave a place in the final after six previous defeats.
