The head of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao, the minister is in for a comfortable ride, thanks to a last purchase for him, ie, a Mercedes-Benz bus bulletproof. The bus, which is expected to employ while on tour Telangana, cost the state Rs. 5 million rupees. A spokesman for the chief minister’s office told NDTV, “Our chief minister will also be traveling on a bus company state road transport as the townspeople of the state. It is not really a luxury bus. No even a bed in. Just 12 seats for the staff of the Prime Minister to travel with him and hold meetings while in motion. ”
The bus called Telangana Pragathi Ratham (car course) will be used by Rao, popularly known as KCR, travel to the interior regions of the state.
After prayers in Yadagirigutta that KCR is developing along the lines of the famous Tirupati temple, the bus arrived at Hyderabad on Friday. KCR met him at the Temple Chilkur Balaji (Visa) on the outskirts of the city.
Justify the ostentatious acquisition, a state official said it was not possible for the CM to travel by helicopter during bad weather and the bus could actually save some money. “With 17 seats, it is like any other super-luxury bus, but with additional facilities such as a toilet,” the official said.
The first CM newest state in the country could attract criticism for such indulgence, as farmers’ suicides and other serious problems ruin Telangana. Even the fortified bus, equipped with videoconferencing facilities, was acquired through the company’s state road transport, which is the neck losses.

“Naidu travels a lot in the districts. The bus is designed to provide conference facilities with officials on the fly, while he can also stay put anywhere for the night with some comfort,” a senior official office of the chief minister of Andhra HT said.
Earlier, in the aftermath of the super cyclone Hudhud, Naidu had overseen the relief work operating from a bus in Vizag with very basic facilities.
It is reported that Mr. Rao called a workspace instead of a board room. That said, the bus also has access to the stairs to the roof from the inside in order to allow the Chief Minister to make public appearances.
He will put the bus service from tomorrow as he launches a tour to launch a tree planting drive.
