Also it inaugurated Rs 125 million rupees irrigation system in the elevator Gudem Godawari river in the village of Dandepally Gudem mandal on Sunday night.
He also announced that low Penganga project would be built in the village Tadsoli Yavatmal District, which supplies irrigation water for Thamsi, Jainth, mandalas Bela Adilabad.
The chief minister also launched the “Haritha Telanganaku Haram” in Gudem said that expand the green area in the state and increasing precipitation.
Expressing their commitment to improve vegetation cover to 33 percent from 24 percent in the state, he said, nearly 230 crore trees were planted over the next three years.
At least 40,000 trees were planted in each village of Telangana, he said, adding that Telangana forest cover was lost due to the negligence of previous governments. He said the reduction of forest cover not only reduces income, but also affects the environment.
