‘Srimanthudu’ Formalities Clears Censor Board; Mahesh Babu-starring Shruti Haasan set for the big premiere in August 7
Koratala director Siva “Srimanthudu” starring Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan in the lead, has achieved a U / A certificate from Censor Board. Manufacturers are preparing for a big launch on August 7.
It was reported earlier that the creators of “Srimanthudu” had planned to defend the film before the Censor Board on August 3. But they rejected his plans at the last moment due to a technical problem in the first copy. The heads of Mythri Movie Makers, who have produced “Srimanthudu” in collaboration with G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, have confirmed the news about receiving the certificate.

Made with a budget of around Rs 50 crore, “Srimanthudu” is touted to be a family entertainer with all commercial ingredients – action, romance and comedy. In addition to the address, Koratala Siva has also written the screenplay for the film. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music, while R Madhi has handled the camera work.
Mahesh Babu is seen as a hero Harsha, while Shruti Haasan appears as his love interest – Charuseela in the film.
Jagapati Babu Rajendra Prasad, Sukanya, Brahmanandam, Sivaji Raja, Aamani, Angana Roy, Sanam Shetty, Tejaswi Madivada, Sampath Raj and Mukesh Rishi are supporting cast. Rahul Ravindran and Poorna have cameos in the film.
