Actor Nikhil Siddhartha who is presently working on the upcoming crime comedy, Sankarabharanam, has signed his next film. VI Anand who had earlier directed Tiger starring Sundeep Kishan will be directing the film tipped to be a “thrilling love story.”
“Anand narrated a brilliant script and I immediately said yes. It is going to be a very different film in a new genre,” shares Nikhil who has consciously been making an effort to star in films which aren’t run-off-the-mill.
The actor seems to have no qualms about the fact that the Tiger didn’t fare well at the box office. “I don’t really think success at the box office makes a difference. I went ahead with him because I loved the narration and I have confidence in it,” says Nikhil who is excited to be a part of the film.
Meanwhile, Nikhil is prepping to act in Karthikeya 2, a sequel to the 2014 hit film Karthikeya in which he co-starred with Swathi and Chandoo Mondeti.

It certainly seems like director Nikhil Advani and Kangana Ranaut have developed a good working rapport with Katti Batti. In fact, we hear that Nikhil has roped in Kangna to essay the lead role in his next film as well. Nikhil’s next which is supposedly a thriller, will see Kangna playing a no nonsense police officer.
Commenting on the same Nikhil says, “Yes Kangna will be featuring in my next, but it is still too early to talk about it. As of now, I can say that Kangna will be undergoing workshops on mannerisms and her body language for the film.”
Said to be based on the 2011 film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Nikhil’s yet untitled venture will go on floors next year.
