Rajinikanth to pull off a heroic action scene in Kabali!
Superstar Rajinikanth’s Tamil film “Kabali” features a heroic fire sequence with over 200 extras! The scene is said to have been recently canned by the team here in a studio. “This scene is part of the flashback portion in the film. It features over 200 extras and Rajinikanth comes to their rescue. Actors Ramesh and John Vijay, who essay important roles in the film, are also a part of this scene” a source from the film’s unit told IANS. The particular scene, according to the source, was shot in Paramount Studio here.
We all know how Rajinikanth has had a devilishly difficult time at box office in recent times with both his films Kochadaiiyaan and Lingaa failing to set the box office on fire.
While there is tremendous around Enthiran 2, Rajini has been silently shooting for Pa Ranjith’s Kabali. The film starring Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte, Dhansikaa is said to be about an ageing gangster played by superstar himself. After shooting at Chennai airport and at Paramount studios in Chennai, Rajini and Kabali team are off to Malaysia for the second schedule of the film.
But we have got some interesting goss coming from the Kabali sets. Out of the scenes that were captured in Chennai, there was a high profile action scene too performed by Rajini. With over 200 extras gathered for the action scene, we have learnt that the scene involved Rajini saving everyone from fire in a building. “ This scene is part of the flashback portion in the film. It features over 200 extras and Rajinikanth comes to their rescue. Actors Ramesh and John Vijay, who essay important roles in the film, are also a part of this scene” said a source close to the film.
With flashback portions confirmed, we are eagerly waiting to check out Rajinikanth’s younger avatar as we are already in love with superstar’s salt and pepper older guy look.
