After the moderate success of her horror comedy ‘Geetanjali’, Anjali is back with another female-centric film ‘Chitrangada’, a thriller. The film’s teaser was unveiled recently.
Sharing details about the film, director Ashok says, “It has been majorly shot in the USA. Anjali will be seen sporting a very uber chic look. She has shed around 15 kilos for the part, which has two shades to it.
One of the challenges for her included shooting in freezing temperatures in USA, but she was equal to the task. Several Hollywood technicians have lent their services to the film.” A production of G Sridhar, the film, which sees Deepak and Sindhu Tolani in supporting roles, is set to unspool this December.
who entertained Telugu audience with “Geethanjali” in 2014 not yet release any of her films in 2015, where she did cameo in Nikhil’s “Sakharabaranam” which is yet to release but she has completely concentrated on her lady oriented upcoming film “Chitrangada” directed by “Pilla Jamindar” fame Ashok. The film is taught to be an intense horror thriller. The trailer of “Chitrangada” released few minutes back on Today (Oct 20th 2015). Within few minutes of release it’s getting good response from viewers. The trailer showcased exotic & beautiful locations which may became highlight of the film, trailer indirectly showed the theme of the movie seemed to be the blend of superstitious powers and science followed by the exiled evil factions. The trailer was assuring that one more interesting thriller film is on the way to entertain the movie lovers.
