Rana’s Fight For India Continues
Macho hero Rana Daggubati, who has played a Naval officer in his latest war drama ‘Ghazi’, has officially announced to have signed yet another war film.
“From one period to another. 1971-1945 filming for my next which is a tale of a soldier who fought for independence during the British Raj!!” Rana posted on Twitter.
While ‘Ghazi’ narrated the story of how Pakistani submarine named ‘Ghazi’ was submerged in the sea near Vizag during the 1971 India-Pakistan war, his new film dates back to 1945 and it depicts the story of a soldier who fought for Independence during the British Raj.
Ghazi was part real, part fiction but the actor’s Independence war drama is completely fictional. Rana made it clear that the story of the soldier that he would be playing is not based on any real personality. He said that he would soon reveal the film’s title and other details.
Rana is currently enjoying the success of Ghazi and also shooting for director Teja’s film. He will next be seen in the second part of ‘Baahubali’ that is slated for a worldwide release on April 28.
