She is young in the industry but already setting benchmarks for others to follow. Akshara Haasan is busy promoting her upcoming film “Laali Ki Shaadi Main Ladoo Deewana”, but what many don’t know is that she has been sick and was hospitalised on more than one occasion in the past one month. Despite that, the young actor refused to let go of a single opportunity to promote the film.
“It is important that we promote the film that we work so hard for. Every member of the cast must put their might behind the film,” said Akshara Haasan and has always maintained that.
Her co-star Vivaan Shah adds, “Akshara is the most respectful, professional, well-behaved and disciplined actress. As to what happened that day, if I was in her place, perhaps I would have lost my cool too.”
Akshara’s co-star referring to a recent report of the actor supposedly losing her cool during an interview. Akshara takes on the reports head on when asked, “These reports have been exaggerated. I share the most respectful relationship with Mr Sunny Khanna. I was extremely unwell during the media interactions and expressed a desire to go home. Mr Khanna was most understanding, but what was a personal conversation has been made into me being rude. I called up Mr Khanna and apologised and he was surprised and said don’t pay attention.”
When we spoke to Sunny Khanna he had the same thing to say, “I don’t have any problems with Akshara. She was very unwell from the beginning of the promotions, despite which she came and gave interviews like a true professional. What happened that day has been misinterpreted. she did lose her cool, but has already apologised as well.”
Director Manish Harishankar added, “Akshara is the finest, most polite individuals I have ever known. My deepest condolences on the loss of her uncle.”
What could be a bigger testimony to her commitment that Akshara was promoting the film, but had to rush to Chennai because of the death of her uncle, Kamal Haasan’s elder brother.
