The Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Turnball, who’s on a four-day visit to India, today met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and both the leaders have traveled over a Metro train in capital New Delhi. Modi, who’s known to build a special bonding with every international leader, has embraced the Australian leader with his charming selfie.
Interestingly, both of them were seen taking a selfie photo while journeying on the train from Delhi’s Mandi House station to Akshardham temple. Sharing the news on his Twitter page, the Aussie PM posted, ‘With @narendramodi on the Delhi Metro Blue Line – 212 kms & 159 stations since 2002’. And his India counterpart confirmed the destination with a tweet ‘On board the Delhi Metro with PM @TurnbullMalcolm. We are heading to the Akshardham Temple.’
As both the leaders, Modi and Malcolm, are intended to have a discussion over wide range of issues “free trade agreement between two countries is expected to dominate all.
In his first official trip, Malcolm is also expected to meet Adani group chairman Gautam Adani to discuss the energy policy and his company’s bid for USD1 billion loan from North Australia Infrastructure facility.
