“Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan is still a puzzle” that is what many political analysts prefer to say about the star turned politician’s political future. Of course, elections are not round the corner. Still there is two years time before the state goes to the polls. Two years time is more than enough for established parties like the ruling TDP or the Opposition YSRCP, for that matter the Congress, the BJP and the left patties.
But for a half born party like Jena Sena, two years is not a big time to make the ground for its maiden entry into electoral battle, it was said in political circles. In fact, the established parties are more active in preparing their ground for 2019 elections. The ruling TDP recently held its annual conclave Mahanadu, for there days in Visakhapatnam.
The main Opposition party YSRCP has started poll preparations with constituency level party plenary meetings followed by district level plenary meeting in June and finally state level plenary in July. But Jena Sena, as political analysts said is yet uncertain about its electoral plans, except recruiting cadre in district after district.
And the party sources said that once the recruitment is completed training will start. If the present pace of recruitment is taken into consideration the whole process may take at least another year or so to take a dotted shape. So, it is everybody’s guess on what is in store for Jana Sena and its chief.
