Brahmin Corporation President IYR fired?
The government of Chandrababu Naidu, head of the Andhra Pradesh government, dismissed the president of the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Corporation, IYR Krishna Rao, from his post since its inception. Although there is no official confirmation yet, the Chief Minister, according to sources has made the decision without ceremony. The reason for the unceremonious decision to pull out the AYR is said to be its criticism of government policies and priorities on the face book page, with particular reference to the functions of Brahmin Corporation.
IYR who served as chief secretary is known for staff integrity and non-controversial through his company was appointed President of the Corporation after his retirement from government service.
Meanwhile, Brahmin associations throughout the state took exception to the government’s decision saying that it is motivated by the anti-brahmin casteos lobby in the ruling TDP. The anti-Brahmin lobby has developed a grudge against the AIA, as it refused to accept its involvement in corporate affairs. And according to his complaint, the Chief Minister made the decision. The AIA is expected to address a press conference later in the day when the most impressive events come to light.
