The Minister of Urban Development of the Union, M Venkaiah Naidu, made it clear that the post of Vice-President of India is not disputed.
Following the speculation that he is in the running for vice president, Venkaiah Naidu clarified: “I will never aspire to be a vice president, my decision will not change even if someone obliges me, I gain happiness by meeting people and serving them. A position as Vice President to keep me away from people.I want to talk without barriers, travel to different places, meet people from different lifestyles and eat various types of food.
Earlier, Venkaiah Naidu hinted he might be the NDA candidate for presidential polls. However, BJP Leadership preferred the governor of Bihar, Ram Nath Kovind, for the highest position.
