Trivandrum (Kerala): A businessman from Kerala, Pillai, 53, was arrested for allegedly raping a lady Odisha, who was his domestic help.
The 23-year-old maid approached a private hospital in Trivandrum for abortion on Saturday.
Police were informed by doctors and began an investigation after their statement was filed. Domestic help is reportedly pregnant for two months and claimed that the cashew businessman had sexually assaulted her several times.
The police have registered a case under IPC 376 against the businessman.
