Why does this baron of the media get upset by YS Jagan touching Kovind’s feet?

The media and politics are inseparably intertwined in Andhra Pradesh and everyone in Telugu states knows this. A blatantly pro-TDP media boss was furious with YSRCP boss YS Jagan Mohan Reddy getting positive comments from people when he touched NDA presidential candidate Ramnath Kovind.
So far, that medium was busy cooking stories that YS Jagan is insolent and does not respect the elders. Now, YS Jagan touching Kovind’s feet was surprising to him. More positive was the support YS Jagan was receiving. People working in their media organization reveal that Tuesday seemed very irritable and upset. He asked the high press to write something against YS Jagan so that he would hit his image.
When a senior editorial person tried to say that this would be counterproductive, the media baron broke into expletives and asked them to cook a story saying that Jagan has left Dalit MLAs of YSRCP to take a photo with Kovind. He also asked them to add that Jagan called all Dalit deputies to his residence and asked them to touch his feet. Since this was incorrect, senior officials were unwilling to write, as it could affect the credibility of the organization. A high-level editorial told him that such a scandalous story could invite a case of defamation, the baron told them that you can always add that this is the buzz in social media and escape guilt. He is said to have even rebuked the elderly who are not applying their brains despite having huge salaries.
Finally, the story that the boss wanted was published in today’s newspaper. But, the staff, who know the story behind the screens, are concerned about the credibility of the media house.
