Abandoned puppy at the airport is rescued
Not only humans, even our pets are often subject to trauma due to domestic abuse. Recently, the bathroom at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas witnessed one of those incidents of domestic violence affecting pets.
A 3-month-old cub was found abandoned in one of the airport’s baths over the weekend. The owner had left behind a note with the puppy, indicating the reasons why the puppy was left in such a predicament.
The note said: “Hello! I’m chewable. My owner was in an abusive relationship and I could not afford to get on the plane,” read the confession.
“She did not want to leave me with all her heart, but she has no choice.” My ex-boyfriend kicked my dog when we were fighting and he has a big knot in his head. Favor, love and care for him. ”
Fortunately, he was discovered by a traveler shortly after his owner was forced to flee. The puppy was then transported to a local dog rescue center called Connor & Millie’s Dog Rescue.
Fortunately, the rescue has taken good care of Chewy and seems to be making a good recovery.
His Facebook page posted: “There has been a tremendous interest in little Chewy !!! We are compiling all the forms of interest and we will be going through all of them.” CMDR wants to thank all the offers of a loving home.
In addition, he wrote: “However, there is only Chewy and he can go home. Please consider the hundreds if not thousands of love-loaded ‘Chewys’ who are desperately looking for shelter homes that are at full capacity, The rescues are full! “
