Bharti Airtel said today that it will invest Rs 2,000 crore over three years under the Next project to renew customer contact points and improve the subscriber experience.
Under the Next project, Airtel will renovate its stores, launch protection plans for mobile phones, allow the transfer of unused mobile data next month for post-paid users and the post-payment plan sharing within a family, Gopal said. Vittal to the reporters here.
The company, which is locked in an intense battle against operators such as Reliance Jio and Vodafone, said it will launch several digital innovations to “shift to simplicity and interactivity” from its customer experience.
At the launch of VoLTE (Voice over LTE), Vittal said it is in the works and the company is conducting trials in five cities. He added that the company will be “able to take VoLTE” across the country in the later part of the year.
