On Monday late evening, a ramming terror attack has been reported from Anantnag of Jammu and Kashmir where seven pilgrims from Amarnath Yatra were killed.
The militants, all of a sudden, have opened fire at a moving bus near Batingu of Anantnag district. The incident, which also left 12 others and three security personnel injured, has been inviting a huge amount of anger from Indians across the country.
While five of those who died are women, all of them belong to Gujarat. Reacting to the terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted – ‘Pained beyond words on the dastardly attack on peaceful Amarnath Yatris in J&K. The attack deserves strongest condemnation from everyone… India will never get bogged down by such cowardly attacks and the evil designs of hate.’
Union Defence Minister Arun Jaitley said – ‘Terrorist attack on Amarnath Yatra is the most reprehensible act. This should add to our determination to eliminate terrorism.’
