Katlicherra (Assam): In a shocking portrait of misconduct, police arrested Faizuddin Laskar, a teacher who previously published obscene images with his students online.
A faculty member of Model High School in Katlicherra in the Hailakandi district of Assam allegedly clicked on unpleasant poses with his student, a younger girl, and the photos were later posted online.
Condemning the improper behavior of the teacher, the Leader of the Opposition in Assam and the leader of the Congress Party Debabrata Saikia demanded strict government action.
Continuing with this, Saikai attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the incorrect implementation of his scheme “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”.
“This type of behavior is very unfortunate, it is surprising that the state government and education departments have not reacted to the case. This type of incident will only further discourage girls from pursuing education. The Center has not reacted. ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ will remain just a slogan, rather than a constructive move, “Saikia said.
Although it is unclear who clicked on the photographs, the photographs reveal that they were taken inside the school premises itself, and the teacher was willing to pose for photos with the minor student.
