BJP Legislative Party leader Vishnu Kumar Raju expressed his displeasure at the places where Liquor Stores were established in his constituency.
Vishnu Kumar Raju: “The license was issued even after I took a firm stand not to allow liquor stores within the 100-meter radius of educational institutions. It bothers me to fight the practice of issuing license against the standards. my constituency, there are 13 bars and 14 wine shops.A representation was given to CM Chandrababu Naidu who opposes the locations of 8 liquor stores.The officials had thrown the letter presented by Me as a used paper.
The BJP MLA alleged, ‘Although Visakha Excise superintendent is restricting the wine mafia, the liquor mafia is getting licenses and orders directly from Amaravati’.
A few months ago, Jawahar’s Minister of Taxation provoked a dispute by calling Beer a healthy drink and allowing the establishment of liquor stores in residential areas.
