4-year-old mulled to death by stray dogs, parents blame municipal corporation
A four-year-old boy was bitten to death by stray dogs in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur on Thursday.
Prem Kumar was playing outside his house on Thursday afternoon when his parents were away at work. He was playing on the first floor of his building in Rajiv Gruha Kalpa, a government housing society. As he came down to the ground floor, three-four dogs, who were fighting among themselves, attacked him.
The boy was rushed to the Guntur General Hospital, where he succumbed to multiple injuries.
Ironically chief minister Chandrababu Naidu was holding a conference of the district collectors at the time of the incident. The conference was called to talk about welfare and development of people. Guntur Police has registered a Case under section 174CrPC but family is alleging negligence of the Guntur Municipal Corporation.
