After ‘Agnyaathavaasi’, AP Government granted permission for Special Shows of ‘Jai Simha’ during the Sankranthi period. This rule is applicable from January 12th to 16th and three extra shows can be screened from 1 am to 10 am.
AP Government defends it’s order saying such a move was taken to prevent black-marketing and law & order issue. It directed all the Joint Collectors and Licensing Authorities to make necessary arrangements to implement the order.
Why don’t State Government allow all the Sankranthi releases to screen extra shows? At least, Such a step would end the criticism coming it’s way. Else, An indication that only influential and those Heroes who maintain good relations with Government will be entertained.
