Mahanati which is coming out as the biopic of late actress Savithri is one of the highly anticipated films. Not only Savithri fans but also the entire Telugu industry is eagerly waiting for this high-budget biopic. The ups and downs of her life, the situations she faced when she was on the death bed are featured in this biopic.
The movie is slated to get released on March 29th. But the present scenario is hinting that the release might be postponed. The team has a lot of graphic works in pending and it might take a few more weeks for them to complete it. So, the makers are considering to postpone the release. On the other hand, Ram Charan and Skumar’s period drama ‘Rangasthalam’is also releasing on 30th of March. So, some are claiming that Mahanati makers are postponing their film so they dont have to compete with Rangasthalam.
Sources claim that the movie will release in summer. Just like some of the high-budget films, Mahanati is also going to change the release date. Keerthi Suresh is playing the title role in the film and star cast including Samantha, Dulquer Salman, Vijay Deverakonda are playing vital roles. Yevade Subramanyam fame Nag Ashwin is helming this project.
