The High Court on Thursday launched a Public Prosecutions Litigation challenging the Telangana RTC workers’ strike. Telangana Telangana Government, RTC ownership counter was filed on the occasion. The trade unions clarified the strike. On the other hand, the government has told the court that alternative arrangements have been made without inconvenience to the public. It also told the court that the workers’ strike was illegal. The court intervened and asked the bus pass holders whether they were allowed to travel. The government says it has already given orders to all depot managers.
However, the High Court has ordered the government and RTC management to submit a full report once again. Moreover, the government has expressed dissatisfaction with the filing counter. The jury heard the arguments and held that the government’s report was ambiguous. The next hearing is set for October 15. Telangana Janata Party leader Kodandaram and JAC leaders were present on behalf of RTC workers.
RTC workers, on the other hand, are not inconvenienced by commuters who are operating buses with temporary employees as they are not on duty. Transport Minister Puvvada Ajaykumar has announced that the buses will run as scheduled from Thursday. The fare table was set up on each bus as allegations of misappropriation of some tickets were raised.
Officials have warned that temporary employees will take action even if the rupee exceeds the ticket price. A bus pass will also be allowed. Meanwhile, the government is planning to extend the Dasara holiday for another two days. With the end of the festival, people are coming to the capital from hometowns.
