Supreme Court Dismisses All Review Petitions Filed Against Ayodhya Verdict

The Supreme Court dismissed all review petitions filed to review the Ayodhya verdict. On November 9, the Supreme Court issued a sensational verdict in the Ayodhya case. The Supreme Court has ruled that 2.77 acres of disputed land should be allocated to Ram Lalla to facilitate the construction of the Ram Mandir. The Center has ordered the allocation of five acres of land to the Sunni Waqf Board for the construction of the mosque.
The first review petition was filed in the Supreme Court on December 2 to review the Ayodhya verdict. The petition was filed by Maulana Syed, President of the Uttar Pradesh Department of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind. Six more review petitions were filed on December 6. Two review petitions were filed on 9 December.

On December 9, the All-India Hindu Mahasabha and 40 others filed a review petition. All of them have been asked to review the Ayodhya verdict.

Petitioner Maulana Syed Asad Rashid told the court that full justice would be done only if the Babri mosque was ordered to be rebuilt. Interim stay on verdict on Ayodhya.

The All India Hindu Congress sought a limited review on the Ayodhya verdict. The Hindu Mahasabha has condemned the allocation of five acres of land to the Sunni Waqf Board for the construction of a mosque in Ayodhya.
