Sequel fever seems to be grabbing Telugu film industry. While sequel to Kick Ravi Teja, titled Kick 2, released last week, fans are eagerly waiting for Baahubali sequel is scheduled for next year.
Not long ago, Ravi Teja had announced that Kick 3 is in the pipeline. Now we learn that the race of Allu Arjun Gurram also have a sequel next year. Kick 2 Director Surender Reddy, who also happens to be the director of the Career Gurram, he revealed that he has plans to make a sequel to Allu Arjun-2014 blockbuster starring Shruti Haasan. “I intend to work in race Gurram 2 ‘with Allu Arjun. Also I have plans to do’ Kick 3 ‘. The stories of these movies appealed to the audience so much that I feel that the franchise can be extended,” said Surender Reddy .
Also defending his latest statement Kick 2, Reddy said, “The public as a whole enjoyed the movie and that’s more important than some scathing criticism. The numbers have been great in the first weekend.”
Now that the race Gurram 2 is in the pipeline, Allu Arjun fans are bound to be very happy.
