Former Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao (72) has passed away. He committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Hyderabad on Monday morning. The deputies responded immediately and rushed to Basavatarakam Hospital. Attempts were made to place the treatment on a ventilator. But when the situation got worse .. he breathed his last. Hospital sources have not yet confirmed the news of Kodela’s death. But relatives and party sources confirmed his death.
Kodela Siva Prasad Rao has recently had a heart attack. He was treated in Guntur for a few days at the hospital of his son-in-law.
Police have registered a case in connection with the assembly furniture dispute. Narasarao is accused of forcibly collecting tax in the name of code tax during the TDP period. He has also filed a case against his daughter and son. This caused him mental anguish.
Telangana CM KCR expressed shock over the death of Kodela Siva Prasad Rao. He expressed sympathy to his family.
