Almost a week after showing the world she can rival her husband, Ryan Reynolds, when it comes to posting hilarious messages on social media, Blake Lively is back to what she does best. She posted the most hilarious birthday tribute to her husband.
According to reports in People.com, to celebrate Ryan 41st birthday, the mother-of-two took to Instagram to send her well wishes to her husband of five years. “Happy Birthday, baby (sic),” Lively wrote alongside a pic of Ryan Gosling and a cropped out Reynolds at the Critics’ Choice Awards in 2016.
This post came two months after Reynolds cropped Blake out of a picture of the couple at the 2014 Met Gala. “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife (sic),” he captioned the snap. It appears the Deadpool actor couldn’t get enough of his wife’s joke, and commented on the picture, “Awesome (sic).”
Earlier in the day, Reynolds revealed to his Twitter followers how he kicked off his birthday celebrations with his family. “My kids tried to surprise me for my birthday this morning. I totally heard them coming and snuck out to start a new life somewhere else (sic),” he wrote.
