Bruce Lee movie released on October 16, which is a new big budget movie made by Srinu Vaitla. It is featured with Ram Charan in the lead role and Rakul Preet in the female lead role along with few supporting characters. Interesting thing is Chiranjeevi appeared in this movie saying ‘boss is back’. This movie is made with a budget of Rs 370 million.
It received mixed responses from the audience but it failed to turn this talk into reality. It has good openings, But audience turned the faces into routine flick in terms of the Srinu Vaitla last release. Even Chiru Comeback has not helped the Poor Box office collections of Bruce lee. It raised up to Rs 16.55 cr on the first day of the release at the box office.
It failed to mark success at the box office in the second weekend, In the first week it grossed Rs 48.40 Cr at the worldwide box office and distributors shares as Rs 34.31 Cr. It faced tough competition with Varun Tej’s Kanche movie at the box office and also with another release of the second week Columbus and Raju Gari Gadhi movies, which are doing good business at the box office.
In 10 days, Bruce Lee collected Rs 55.55 cr at the box office and returned Rs 38.29 cr to distributors, To manage the investments it has to earn Rs 20 cr more. It looks like it would create a loss for distributors.
