Rajini Pandit is well-known as the first Woman Detective in our country. There are so many documentaries and books on her. New director Verniq is taking her as an inspiration, designed a murdery mystery and is making a movie out of it. When writing the script itself he felt that Trisha will justify the role and approached her immediately. Trisha also readily gave her nod and the makers are considering the title Kuttrapayirchi for the film. Touted to be a periodic film, the movie is set in the backdrop of 1980.
The movie theme is how the lady detective struggled hard to solve a case and it is a complete female-centric film. The director stated that he will not say how to play the role and just give her the scene because she have the talent to manage all the other things. Priyamani is also going to a part of this film but the director haven’t revealed much about her role.
