Hyderabad: Telangana Govt planning INR 21, 000 crore in Hyderabad City project to improve infrastructure in and around the city to solve the traffic problems that lead to the development of infrastructure.
Telangana State Government has been working seriously for the development of the state, as part of this state chief minister K. Chandra Shekhar Rao has been inviting more projects that could help to develop the state.
Wednesday night, CM KCR has addressed the National Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and said that the state government has been preparing plans to improve the infrastructure in and around the state capital of Hyderabad with to decongest the city and to solve the traffic problem.
He said that Mayor Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) had prepared plans on the lines of Dallas to build multi-level flyover at major intersections in the city. According to sources, the Canadian firm had already carried out the study on infrastructure arrangements in and around the city and presented the report to the state government. The Telangana government has also called the GHMC for tenders for the first phase of the project.
Telangana government is also encouraging the private sector to participate in creating the necessary infrastructure in Hyderabad. The state has a huge land bank and would allocate land to industries that have 3000-5000 employees to build their own municipality in Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) area of 7,200 square kilometers arrangements.
