CM YS Jagan conducted Aerial Survey in the area of boat accident in East Godavari district. Home Minister Sucharita and Minister Anil Kumar Yadav were also present in the aerial survey. Monday morning CM took helicopter from the tadepalli for Incident site inspection. The aerial survey covered the area of Kachaloor, where the launch event was happened, and aerial surveys.
He Visited the victims at Rajahmundry hospital afterwards. Officers have been asked about the causes of the boat accident. The victims were asked about their treatment. The AP government has already announced Rs 10 lakh exgratia for those killed in the accident.
The death toll from the boat accident has reached 12. 8 bodies were recovered on Sunday. Four more bodies were found on Monday morning. CM Jagan who took the incident seriously, ordered the authorities to take immediate action. The government has ordered the boats not to run in the state until further orders are issued.
