Finance Minister Telangana Eatala Rajender informed the Assembly on Friday that government employees would get their salary arrears improved following the recommendations of the Review Commission payment in the form of bonds, plus interest, for a period of five years.
Responding to a question during question hour, Mr. Rajender said arrears are paid from June 2 last year until February salary that was sent this month.
They are entitled to higher pay 43 percent of the furniture of this month onwards.
The Minister said that all employees of state government, local bodies, public enterprises and non-teaching staff of universities would be covered.
