Hyderabad: Nampally court acquitted the 10 suspects against whom a charge sheet was filed by the Hyderabad city police in connection with the blast of a human bomb in the former force’s office in 2005 at a Day of Dusserah.
The court issued its judgment on Thursday after prosecutors could not prove allegations against the accused.
In less than two months this is the second trial including that of the attack case against the Akbaruddin MLA, where police could not prove the charges.
The trial comes as a major relief for the families of the people, who were arrested and have been in prison for about 12 years.
While the police have not yet decided to appeal this verdict in a higher court, the defendants’ lawyer also said that after reading the copy of the trial, they will decide to approach a higher court for illegally detaining them in this period without evidence.
