HYDERABAD: Telangana BJP leaders have alleged that the agreements and the works being taken to the next Godavari Pushkarams were far from satisfactory when the 12-day festival is scheduled to begin on July 14.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, the president of the BJP G Kishan Reddy accused the state government of shoddy works. 800 different works were taken to pushkarams only aimed at benefiting contractors affiliated with the ruling party, he alleged.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday criticized the officials of all departments failed to meet the expectation of the State Government ahead of Godavari Pushkarams-2015.
