Inaugural champions Jaipur Pink Panthers face Telugu Titans in what is expected to be an entertaining match in the Pro Kabaddi League 2016 on Saturday. The two sides clash at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune.
Both teams have made a good name for themselves in the Pro Kabaddi over the last couple of seasons, and they will be expected to make Saturday all the more special. The Abhishek Bachchan co-owned Pink Panthers are currently fifth in the table with 14 points from six games, while Telugu Titans are third with 17 points from six games.
The Pune leg of Pro Kabaddi League 2016 is turning out to be a bit frustrating for the teams so far as we have seen as many as two drawn games in the three matches played. While Puneri Paltan were held by Patna Pirates in the opening match of the Pune leg, the third match featuring Puneri Paltan and Jaipur Pink Panthers also turned out to be a draw.
The Pink Panthers, with impressive performances from Rajesh Narwal, Sonu Narwal and Ran Singh, gave a tough contest to the home side on Friday, but they could ultimately take home only three points. However, the Jaipur side will fancy their chances against Telugu Titans.
With three wins and three defeats, the South Indian outfit have some work cut out to reach the top of the table now, and keep the playoffs spot locked. They have defeated Puneri Paltan, Dabang Delhi and Bengaluru Bulls so far this season, and the Titans will be looking for another win in their one and only game in Pune this season.
