Rocky Handsome, starring John Abraham and Shruti Hassan in the lead, is all set to release on February 5 next year. Nishikant Kamat of Drishyam fame is directing the out-and-out action film, which is an adaptation of the 2010 Korean movie The Man from Nowhere.
Set in Goa, Mumbai and Pune, the film is an adrenaline pumping action film embellished with a strong emotional story of the relationship between a father who never had a daughter and a seven year old daughter who never had a father. Shruti, 29, and the Force 2 star, 42, were last seen in Welcome Back. Rocky Handsome is produced by JA Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Azure Entertainment.

While speaking to ANI, the ‘Madras Cafe’ actor said, “She is too good for me. She comes on set and observes the choreographer for just two minutes and starts performing. I cannot be so quick. It’s very difficult for me. I can watch her but cannot dance like her.”
According to sources, both the actors are in a sort of engagement in which John will teach Shruti on how to be fit and Shruti will teach him how to dance.
The 43-year-old actor further revealed that it is only due to delay in release of ‘Welcome Back’, he took 2 years gap from silver screen. However, people will now see him often as he has started shooting for ‘Rocky Handsome’ with Shruti, along with couple of other projects such as ‘Dhishoom’ with Varun Dhawan, and ‘Force 2’.
