Police are investigating a case of massive theft at a Lalitha Jewelery shop in Tiruchi, Tamil Nadu. Within 24 hours, five accused were arrested. The thieves who stole the wall at the Lalita Jewelery Store in Gandhinagar on Tuesday night took away Rs 13 crore worth of diamonds, gold and silver. The police took to the field with a complaint of ownership over the incident.
The seven Special Teams’ thieves set up to investigate the case were taken to a lodge in Pudukkottai on Thursday morning. Knowing that the police were coming, the robbers tried to escape from the floor of the lodge. They were immediately arrested by the police.
