House Classics Distribution Entertainment, which has acquired the rights abroad for Mahesh Babu “Srimanthudu” has leaked the first aspect of the film, which has gone viral on social media.
Recently it has been reported that the creators of the film starring Mahesh Babu and Shruthi Haasan were busy with the final designs of the first image of the film yet-to-be titled. It was also revealed that they had planned to unveil the first option on March 21, on the eve of Ugadi. But two posters appeared online three weeks before the scheduled launch.
The rumor mills were abuzz with the news that the film makers were considering various names such as “Parakrama”, “Magaadu”, “Maa Akka Bangaram”, “Srimanthudu” for the film. If we go by the two cartels, producers have concentrated on the “Srimanthudu” as the title.
“Srimanthudu” which is touted to be a family entertainer, was written and directed by “Mirchi” -fame Koratala Siva and produced by Naveen, Y Ravi Shankar and CV Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie makers. Devi Sri Prasad popular musician is composing the music for the film.
Mahesh Babu is playing the male lead, while Shruti Hasaan, who was seen before the actor in the theme song for “Aagadu” plays his love interest. Manufacturers have kept the history and details of its functions under wraps. Jagapathi Babu plays the father of Prince, while Rajendra Prasad, Nadhiya, Amani, Sampath Raj, Brahmanandam and Poorna appear in the foundry.
Launched in August 2014, “Srimanthudu” was shot in different locations in Hyderabad, Pune and Tamil Nadu. R Madhi is handling the cinematography of the film. The film unit is currently shooting for a fight sequence Mahesh Babu in Pollachi. It is expected the movie to release in May 2015.
