Mahesh Babu’s sister Manjula is back in the news after a brief hiatus. For the first-time, Manjula Ghattamaneni is wielding the megaphone and she is going to direct youngster Sundeep Kishan in her directorial debut. Billed to be a romantic comedy, Tridha Choudhary and Amyra Dastur are going to be seen as the female leads opposite Sundeep. Being jointly produced by Gemini Kiran and Manjula on Anandi and Indira production, the film had its formal launch today.
The movie will mark Amyra’s Tollywood debut. Amyra has shot to fame with Dhanush’s Anekudu (Anegan in Tamil) and even seen in Hollywood film Kung Fu Yoga alongside Jackie Chan. Cinematographer Ravi, of Race 2 fame, is going to crank the camera while Radhan scores the music.
Manjula has always been interested in movies. She had made her debut as an actress with the award-winning film Show in 2002. She also produced Pokiri, Naani and Ye Maya Chesave. She was also seen in Ram Charan’s Organe.
