Ace badminton player and Rio Olympics silver medallist PV Sindhu is set to play another big role soon. She will be appointed as Brand Ambassador to Andhra Pradesh State to promote the state at all world platforms.
Chandrababu Naidu already informed Sindhu about his government decision to appoint as state ambassador. Sindhu had recently been offered group one post in the rank of Deputy Collector and the Olympic medalist also accepted. Once she joined state service, Sindhu will get IAS cadre post in five years.
At present, the badminton sensation is working in the public sector oil company, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) as deputy manager (sports).
Besides the job offer, the Andhra Pradesh government has already given Sindhu a cash award of Rs 3 crore, besides a 1,000 square yard residential plot in the new capital region of Amaravati.
