Democrats in Telangana say that the law does not apply to those who make laws. Leaders who are adamant that all people should follow traffic rules and be disciplined on the roads, they are turning on the roads without following the rules. Telangana ministers’ vehicles are hitting the roads. Considering the latest fines on ministers’ vehicles, the vast majority are concerned with over speed.
Ministers often travel across the Outer Ring Road and State Highways on their way to Hyderabad from various districts and constituencies. Speed laser guns are detecting that the speed of their vehicles is exceeding 100 km. Along with ministers, MLAs and MLC vehicles have also been seen speeding beyond the limits. The police have sent challans to the respective ministers, but there is no response. Ministers Harish Rao, Jagadish Reddy, Ganguly Pratap Reddy and Shetla Rajender are also on this list.
There is a lot of misconduct on social media. The police are also asking why the public are not obliged to collect nasal fines from traffic violators. Citizens, MLAs and MLAs are advised to follow the traffic rules. Some setters are saying that it would be nice to be involved in these aggressive development programs.
