Google has made its desktop backup and synchronization application available for download on Mac and Windows after a delay in June. Users will now be able to sync anything including media files, camera images, SD cards and USB devices.
This will allow users to help protect their files by backing them up. G Suite business users are encouraged to use Google Drive until a business-centric solution called Drive File Stream is released later this year. However, people can subscribe to the Drive File Early Adoption program.
Both apps are available through Google Drive and Google Photos for download.
