Oh so high and low!
The asymmetrical hem is making the rounds in the sphere of fashion again! Shilpa Shetty was recently discovered at an awards show boasting the style as well. This is a trend that has been well absorbed by ethnic wear as much as western wear. Although asymmetrical necklines like the shoulder and shoulder have all been rage this season, you definitely need to take a look at this one. The likes of this style have also been seen in celebrities such as Deepika Padukone and Parineeti Chopra.
“The asymmetry makes your outfits a little more interesting from a design point of view,” says Aloka D’souza. The length of the hem is the key to the detail here, since the different lengths can make all the difference for the overall look. She says: “Pay attention to hem lengths as it matters when it comes to your individual body type.” Extreme skirts with a short cut front and long flare work best on someone with a higher physique. Subtle will work best for everyone. ”
This trend tops the list of affordable fashion. The shorter front and long flowing back has been adapted to fit anarkalis and kurtas as much as dresses and skirts. Deepta Raghunath, a city-based designer, says: “The oversized silhouettes are at the moment and this works well for the asymmetrical hem. With a loose fit, this style works very well with everyone as it is convenient and comfortable for Time we have now. ”
For a daily look, Miriam Browne, a city stylist says, “Pair an overlap dress with a little slit that is a charming casual look. You could experiment with thick or asymmetrical jewelry or a cute bag.
The material you choose for your asymmetric equipment is, as Aloka adds, “soft flow materials like gauze and georgette are ideal for this event.” An asymmetrical hemline set such as a tunic or kurta looks best when combined with conical bottoms that balance the outfit. “The carved figure or ankle length trousers fit well into the asymmetrical skirts. Since this trend is primarily oriented towards comfort, leggings work well too,” adds Deepta.
