Director Puri Jagannadh, who has missed his chance to direct Chiru’s landmark 150th film, has recently met the Mega Star at his residence. Sources have confirmed that the meet was formal and professional regarding their next collaboration. After Chiru wasn’t satisfied with the second half of Auto Johnny, the film was scrapped. Then Chiru told to have promised to do a film for Puri provided he comes up with a good story.
The latest we hear is that Puri has told Chiru about his Jana Gana Mana. This is a powerful script prepared by Puri in the recent times. It’s a bound script. Sources say that this would be best script from Puri and already the likes of Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh have given their nods. While Mahesh is busy with his pipeline of commitments, Venky feels its budget is higher than his market.
Highly-placed sources added that the film would be a take on India’s social, political conditions and it’s in comparison with foreign countries how they’re moving ahead despite the limited resources. Chiru said to have got excited and he’s considering it. But as of now, this has been kept under the wraps.
If all goes well, Chiru might team up with Puri after his ongoing film with Balayya – Balayya 101.
