Quality rice will be distributed in all districts of AP from April 1. CM YS Jagan has issued orders to the authorities to take action to this extent. CM Jagan conducted a review at his camp office on Thursday with civil affairs department officials. On the occasion, CM was working on quality rice distribution in Srikakulam district. Officials who responded to it said there was a good response from the public.
The CM has instructed the authorities to implement the scheme in all districts from April 1 and from now on plans to procure quality rice for the people to eat. Officials have been instructed to educate the public to return the bags of ration rice supplied for recycling.
In December, Jagan ordered officials to take necessary steps for the issuance of new ration cards. Jagan’s decision comes at a time when Opposition TDP has been criticizing the price of rice and baggage costing Rs 7 for the quality of rice.
