The incessant rains in Hyderabad are intensifying by the day. In the other districts of Telangana, moderate to heavy showers were recorded.
Within a span of 24 hours, Hyderabad recorded 38 mm of rains while Nizamabad recorded heavy rains to the tune of 75 mm, Ramagundam 29 mm, and Medak witnessed 3 mm of rainfall.
The rainy spell has resulted in water logging and traffic chaos in some parts of the city.
According to the weather forecast, an east-west trough is extending towards coastal Andhra Pradesh and is likely to persist for another 24-48 hours. Following which, a cyclonic circulation is expected to develop over the coast.
